About Me

I am Andy Barton and this is my blog. It’s the one linked to from andybarton.com.

I’m am now a 58 year old family man, living in Cheshire, but originally from Maidenhead.

I started this blog when first diagnosed with non-Hodgkin Lymphoma in 2009. I was just going to keep a diary, but decided to make it a public one in the hope that if one other person in my situation read it, and got some benefit from it, that would be a positive thing for both of us. I am pleased to say that lots of people have read the blog and several have made comments to me that they have got some benefit from it. So that’s all good.

I will continue to update this with idle thoughts while in remission and some maybe not so idle thoughts if that situation changes going forward.

For the record, I am not “on a journey” with this – this is just life as I know it.
